Multi-Symbol View

With TrendSpider you can have a unified view of multiple charts belonging to different tickers cordially stacked in a single interface. There are no limitations on what tickers you can choose. You can mix and match crypto, stocks, futures, and forex across the 16 individual panes. This empowers the traders to analyze the positions of different symbols from a single location.

Moving forward, the traders can also edit any of the charts from the multi-symbol view to apply actions on the individual level including but not limited to changing symbol, changing chart type, changing timeframe, and much more. All the charts in the multi-symbol view can also be customized at once for similar actions.

In this documentation, we will explore how to:

  • Launch the Multi-Symbol View
  • Set the Number of Symbols
  • Customize a Specific Chart
  • Customize All Charts at Once
  • Refresh Auto Analysis

Let’s get started! 🚀

Launch the Multi Symbol View

There are two methods to launch the multi-symbol view.

Method 1

Click on your profile icon from the top-right corner of the interface and select Open Multi Symbol View from the dropdown list. This will navigate you to a separate new multi-symbol view window.

Method 2

If you already have an existing session active, open a new tab on your browser and navigate to TrendSpider charts once again. This will redirect you to the screen to Select a workspace.  Click on the Multi Symbol View option to access the multi-symbol view window.

Set the Number of Symbols

You can set the number of symbols you want to have in the multi-symbol view.

Click on the drop-down arrow of the workspace layout from the top left corner of the interface and select the number of symbols you want in a row or column on your screen. This is similar to drawing a table.

Note: You can have a maximum of 16 symbols stacked in the 4 rows and 4 columns layout.

Customize a Specific Chart

Multi-symbol view unlocks the opportunity to customize a specific chart for performing technical analysis on the individual level.

Customize a specific chart by following any of the following two options:

Option 1: Click on the heading of the individual chart (displaying symbol, chart type, and time frame) you wish to customize.

This will unlock the editing options for you to customize the individual charts and perform the following actions:
