Workspaces are unique environments that can have their own watch lists, chart layouts, color themes, indicators, trend detection settings and more. The only things shared between workspaces are your chart annotations and drawings and your alerts list; otherwise, they are an independent environment.
You can use workspaces to monitor or work on multiple symbols at one time.
Create a New Workspace
The easiest way to create a new workspace or select an old one to load is to simply open TrendSpider in a new browser tab. When you have the system open in one system, and open it again, it will ask you to either take over the original session workspace in the new window, or to create a new workspace for your new activity.
In-App Workspace Layout Switcher
The Workspace Layout Switcher lets you save different workspace layouts and use them for different chart setups.
You can switch layouts in a few steps:
- Click on your name in the top right hand corner (#1).
- Click on Workspace Layout Switcher (highlighted).
- Select the layout you wish to view.
Depending on your plan, you can have up to six unique workspace layouts, where each layout can be open at the same time. If you want to view multiple tickers on TrendSpider at once, simply open a new tab on your web browser and login to TrendSpider using a different workspace.
First, click Switch Workspace.
Then choose which workspace you would like to use.
Any changes made in a workspace are automatically saved.
