Manage Existing Price Alerts

You can easily manage all active, expired, or previously triggered Dynamic Alerts and Multi-Factor Alerts from the Alerts widget. In this documentation, we will understand how to manage your existing price alerts to fulfill the following roles:

  • Clone an Alert
  • Current Status of Alert
  • Edit an Alert
  • Reactivate Inactive Alert
  • Delete an Inactive Alert

Adding Alerts Widget

Before you can start managing your alerts, it is important to add the Alerts widget from the right sidebar. For more information on adding the alerts widget, please refer to this documentation on- Alerts.

Managing Alerts

After adding the alerts widget, you can hover your cursor over any Dynamic or Multi-Factor alerts in the list, whether active, expired, or previously triggered, and unlock options for managing them.

Clone Your Alert

When an existing Multi-Factor Alert is cloned, a complete copy of all the configurations, conditions, and actions defined within it is done which you can use as a base for creating a new Multi-Factor Alert.

Step 1: Hover your cursor over any Multi-Factor Alert from the list and click on Clone.

Step 2: A modal window for cloning the Multi-Factor Alert will appear, allowing you to create a new Multi-Factor Alert by using the existing configurations, conditions, and actions as a base.

Step 3: You can choose to keep the existing configurations or edit the same as per your requirements. Once done, then click on the Create Alert and the new Multi-Factor Alert will appear in the listing.

Current Status of Alert

You can always check the current status of your Multi-Factor Alert.

Step 1: Hover your cursor over any Multi-Factor Alert from the list and click on more information.

Step 2: A dialog will appear enlisting all the details about your Multi-Factor alert like- Alert Name, Symbol, Your Note on Alert, Current Status, etc.

Edit Your Alert

You can edit an active Dynamic Price Alert or an active Multi-Factor Alert from the list.

Step 1: Hover your cursor over any alert and click on edit.

Step 2: A modal window will appear that will unlock editing options for you. After making the edits, click on the Save Edits button to apply your changes.

For Dynamic Price Alert:

Note*: You cannot edit an already triggered Dynamic Price Alert.*

For Multi-Factor Alert:

Reactivate Inactive Alert

You can reactivate an inactive Multi-Factor Alert.

Hover your cursor over any inactive Multi-Factor Alert from the list and click on Reactivate.

Delete Alert

You can permanently remove a Dynamic Price Alert or Multi-Factor Alert from the list.

Step 1: Hover your cursor over any alert and click on delete.

Step 2: A confirmation modal window will appear on the interface. Click on Yes and the Alert will be permanently removed.
